How Chargers could use Melvin Gordon to land Jalen Ramsey

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Bruce Arians is not the kind of coach you bring in for a rebuilding project, but the Bucs don’t really have the talent to win now. However, they could be just one piece away from starting to turn things around.
With Drew Brees out for some time with a thumb injury, the NFC South is suddenly a wide-open race. The Bucs managed to get a big divisional win last Thursday night over the Carolina Panthers and could really build off that momentum.
On offense, the team has playmakers in place in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. O.J. Howard has the ability to be a game-changing tight end. The running back spot leaves much to be desired though.
Peyton Barber is a fine player, but he’s not going to wow anyone. The team has waited for Ronald Jones to come around, but how long is that going to take?
Adding a piece like Gordon could do wonders for a struggling Jameis Winston who could be down to his last set of chances as the team’s starting quarterback. If they move on from him, it will be a total reboot in Tampa.
Grabbing Gordon now and making a run at the NFC South crown makes as much sense as doing that.
