The Los Angeles Chargers host the Indianapolis Colts in the regular-season opener, looking to start the season with a win. Here are some bold predictions for the game.

The regular season has finally come, and the long wait to see the Chargers in action will come to an end on Sunday as the Bolts face the Colts.

This is a highly anticipated matchup between two of the AFC’s playoff teams from last season. The Colts no longer have their stud quarterback Andrew Luck, but they still are a very dangerous team.

While Luck’s absence makes the Chargers the favorites in this game, it doesn’t mean it will be an easy game. The Chargers’ recent track record in Week 1 suggests it may not be as easy as some may think.

Football is full of surprises, and one can always expect the unexpected. For the 2019 season, three bold predictions will be made each week in an attempt to predict those surprises.
