Offensive line (8)
Sam Tevi, Michael Schofield, Mike Pouncey, Dan Feeney, Trent Scott, Forrest Lamp, Scott Quessenberry, Trey Pipkins
Cuts: Spencer Drango, Blake Camper, Larry Allen Jr., Chris Brown, Tanner Volson, Jamar McGloster
The status of Okung changed the team’s plans in a big way. He will likely start the season on the non-football injury list. Scott will get the job there for as long as he is out and when he returns, the team will decide if he will be a ninth offensive lineman or if one of these guys will be cut.
Aside from Scott sliding into Okung’s role on a temporary basis, there should really be no surprises here. It remains to be seen what the starting unit will look like, but the team has to be happy with how Lamp has progressed this summer.
Pipkins will be kept due to his high draft status but if he gets put into too many in-game situations this year, he could easily get exposed as he’s just not ready to be a consistent contributor at this level.
