Potential offensive tackle options for the Los Angeles Chargers

Telesco has several options outside of his roster to consider for the offensive tackle position.
While there are a ton of reasons to consider waiting until final roster cuts to make a move, the performance from the offensive tackles in the first preseason game should push him to consider the options available now.
There are two offensive tackles available now in Schraeder and Parnell that are starting-caliber players.
Even if Chargers management is unwilling to break the bank now on one player in the hopes of landing a better option that could become available later, there are replacement-level free agent tackles available (such as Clark) that could provide better insurance than those on the roster right now.
With $11 million available in cap space now, the Chargers should consider using at least some of that space to fortify the offensive line. With Russell Okung’s recovery time uncertain, the Bolts should pounce on reinforcements now.
