The NFL preseason is just about here. Well, it is here if you count the Hall of Fame Game, but the other 30 teams kick off their preseason schedules starting this Thursday night.

One of those teams will be the Los Angeles Chargers who will go on the road to face the Arizona Cardinals. If “the games are meaningless and boring” is a thought in your mind, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Not only do all preseason games matter, so does every practice in training camp. The NFL season is a process and the team that follows and learns from the process is generally the last one standing in the end.

These are the teams that properly evaluate talent and put together the best possible roster while hiding any deficiencies that may exist.

For the Chargers, a trip to Miami, site of Super Bowl XLIV, is in their sights. Of course, there are many things to work out before the road leads to the promised land. Some of those issues have popped up in recent weeks, leading to some interesting questions as we head into the season.

So which are the most important questions the Chargers must find an answer to before we kick off the 2019 campaign? Here they are, ranked in terms of importance.
