Three keys to Chargers defense being dominant

Health

Like all the other 31 teams, health is always important, but that is one area the players on this team struggles with. They have key players that have some injury history like Bosa and Perryman.

Davis has also had his fair share of injuries during his career including three ACL tears on one knee.

Ingram has had his battles as well with a hip tear in 2014, and an ACL tear in 2013. Every team wishes it can go through a 16-game season healthy and unscathed of injuries but in the game of football where hits are equivalent to car crashes, it’s hard to stay healthy throughout the season, the Chargers just have to do their best at avoiding some of the costly injuries and limiting them.
