Chargers players disrespected throughout offseason

Chargers ratings and rankings
Derwin James is a Pro-Bowl safety with two All-Pro distinctions for two separate positions, honors awarded to him after becoming one of the highest-rated and most dynamic defenders in the league after just one season. No. 33, in particular, is a master near the line of scrimmage, capable of both rushing the passer and smashing ball carriers. Here’s an example:

Naturally, plays like that got him a 77 tackling rating on Madden. Because, of course.
Next. Potential trade packages for Melvin Gordon
The last player to be talked about here, though arguably the team’s best player, is quarterback Philip Rivers. Statistically, there are few who have played the position better. It’s the ever-elusive Super Bowl title that sinks him in all-time rankings. Leaving him completely off a list of the top 25 quarterbacks, however, is a crime. But that’s just how it is for Rivers, isn’t it? Always the forgotten man, never the most exciting quarterback to generate buzz, always humble in front of the media. No. 17 is much too good to be dismissed so frequently, and the Chargers players he fights alongside every Sunday deserve more respect as well.
