The NFL is an ever-changing business. While teams do their best to keep key components, roster turnover in the league is an inevitability.

Putting forth the best roster while also staying within the salary cap is the job that each general manager is tasked with. It’s not an easy process and often times, it seems like nothing more than guesswork.

The Los Angeles Chargers are a team that is close. The team knows that, general manager Tom Telesco and head coach Anthony Lynn know that and the fans that have stuck with the team know that.

However, the team faces some critical decisions this offseason as several players are set to hit the open free-agent market and as unrestricted free agents, will have the opportunity to sign anywhere they want.

For Telesco, decided which players to re-sign and which players to move on from could be the key to advancing further than the divisional round next season. We already know that the team has decided not to pick up the option on the contract of Corey Liuget while bringing back Jaylen Watkins on a new one-year deal.

The Chargers will still have their solid nucleus of players as well. Philip Rivers, Melvin Gordon and Kenan Allen will run the offense while Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram will anchor the defense. But which players will no longer be in the mix?

Here are five players that won’t be back in 2019.
