Derwin James

Is it weird that the first person that I name is a rookie? This kid gets it and has stepped up so many times for us this year and when the lights are shining the brightest, I expect the kid to come out and make some spectacular plays. He has been doing it all year long and I expect him to be around the football all game long.

He did an amazing job at keeping us in the game against the Kansas City Chiefs and he was asked to keep his eyes on Lamar Jackson the last time we played and he did an excellent job at forcing him to give up the football.

Look for Derwin to fly to the football and create some big time plays.
