‘Tis the season to be thankful. The Los Angeles Chargers have plenty to be thankful for.

Though they are largely flying under the national radar, the 7-2 Chargers have become one of the league’s best teams. Efficient on offense and effective on defense, the Chargers are ready to make their push for the Super Bowl.

With the Thanksgiving holiday approaching, the Chargers host the Denver Broncos on Sunday followed by a visit from the Arizona Cardinals. The holiday will be sandwiched in between those two games.

The team will be able to spend its time reflecting on what has been a great season to this point. Of course, they spent last Thanksgiving embarassing “America’s Team”.

Between the food and football, fans will spend time with their family giving thanks on turkey day. Thankful for family, friends and good fortune.

Football teams are families that are full of friends and when you’re sitting at 7-2, like the Chargers, there has likely been some good fortune.

With that in mind, here are five things for the Chargers to be thankful for at this point in the 2018 season.
