Los Angeles Chargers RB Melvin Gordon is back on the field, so put me down for a WIN.

Los Angeles Chargers RB Melvin Gordon was listed as questionable heading into the game on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. He had been sidelined with a hamstring injury and didn’t see the field before the BYE week against the Tennessee Titans. He did practice fully on Thursday and now Adam Schefter is saying that he will be playing on Sunday.

With Gordon playing, just put me down for the ‘W’ on Sunday. He is a difference maker on offense. With him able to play, the team will be able to pick up big chunks in the run game and it will open up the play action pass that the Chargers have been slaying with. Gordon should be able to keep picking up chunks of yards on offense and getting him back allows the team to get Austin Ekeler into his perfect role on offense.

Gordon has made a huge impact on offense this season. I have even mentioned him as a candidate for MVP this year. The true MVP is Philip Rivers, but Melvin Gordon is a huge contribution to Philip’s season.

Without Gordon, the Chargers were not able to get the running game rolling against the Tennessee Titans. Having Gordon to face the Seahawks will be a huge boost coming out of the BYE week. I expect the Chargers to control the game on offense with Gordon back on the field and do enough on defense to get the win.

What are your thoughts on the game with Gordon back?
