Will the Los Angeles Chargers make any moves at the trade deadline?
Will the Los Angeles Chargers be looking to add a player at the trade deadline? In the past, the trade deadline was not a huge thing in the NFL, but recently teams have been creating a lot more movement.
Will Tom Telesco be looking to make a trade around this time? It has not been part of Tom Telesco’s style to make a trade. He has not even made moves in the draft for trades.
Here are his couple of trades that he has made in his time:
Traded Dontrelle Inman (WR) to Chicago for a conditional draft pick.Traded Jeremiah Sirles (G) to Minnesota for sixth-round selection in 2016 draft.
The Chargers could look to move Travis Benjamin before the end of the trade deadline for a conditional draft pick. He doesn’t have a role for the Chargers at the moment. He has dropped down the depth chart and he doesn’t contribute on special teams anymore.
There is one player that could be available for the Chargers that would be a nice fit for the team. Green Bay Packers S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix would be a nice fit on the defense and is available at the moment. If the team is willing to give up a 3rd round pick, he could be a player that the team rents for the rest of the season and hopefully would be able to keep past this season.
Will the Chargers be willing to risk a draft pick to make a run this season? I don’t think that it is something that Tom Telesco would be willing to do, but I would love to see us chase after it.
