Training camp is here! Well, almost. The Los Angeles Chargers open their summer practice schedule this Saturday at the Jack Hammett Sports Complex in Costa Mesa.

Several veterans will be going through the motions of camp while several other rookies will be taking part in their first one. Position battles will come to the forefront and all of the players on the bubble will be looking to catch a coach’s eye with every snap.

Either way, there will be plenty of action to capture the attention of the crowd in attendance.

The Chargers have one of the more complete rosters in all of football, leading many analysts to predict that they will win the AFC West division this season. But like all good teams, it’s some of the role players that help bring home a championship.

The Chargers have had plenty of these role players step up and help the team win games. In recent years, players such as Tyrell Williams and Austin Ekeler have been guys who have done just that, and most fans didn’t give them much chance of making the team when they first donned a Chargers jersey.

Who are the players on the team who fans could see come out of nowhere in the next few weeks? Here are some possible options.
