Each year, college players of all levels and talents prepare for the NFL Draft. Those who attend the NFL Combine to demonstrate their skills and aptitude normally get a “Draft Profile” along with draft analysis. This article compares those profiles to their current playing ability.

This piece came purely out of research for the Bolt Beat Monday Mailbag. Reading along, I just had to share some of the similarities and differences between a player’s draft profile and how they have either grown or remained the same over the years.

These are from NFL.com’s draft profiles from years ago . Although I did not include the entire analysis of each player, I did add parts to the following slides that made for good comparison.

The words highlighted in bold are ones I reflected on the most. Let’s see if you can guess who the player is based on the hint I give you in the slide transition buttons that lead to each player.
