Can you say GEM!?

McCain, a former undrafted free agent who was traded by the Dolphins to the Saints only to be waived and then picked up by the Chargers, has really made a name for himself in his fourth year in the league (first with the Bolts).

After flashing potential in the preseason, which isn’t always a sign of good things to come, the 25-year-old has tallied five sacks, third-most on the team, as well as 16 combined tackles and two forced fumbles in eight games. He’s only played 25 percent of snaps on defense, too. He has incredible speed and bend for a 6-foot-5, 236-pounder.

Between Joey Bosa, Melvin Ingram and McCain, the Chargers have the deadliest trio of pass-rushers in the NFL. Oh, it’s true, it’s DAMN TRUE!
