Will Colin Kaepernick stand? Salute to military in San Diego

Last week, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick made national headlines after his decision not to stand during the National Anthem prior to a preseason game against the Green Bay Packers. Since, supporters on both sides of the issue have made their voices heard.

Kaepernick has said that he will continue to sit during the National Anthem until he sees some sort of change. That said, we wondered what the readers here at Bolt Beat think.

I know this is a short article but the question of Kap standing in this scenario needs discussion.

Tomorrow night is salute to the military night at the Chargers/ 49ers game. Should Kap stand in support of the flag with military personnel holding the flag on the field or should he sit on principle? Tough call on his part. I sure as heck know what I’d do. What do you think???
