The San Diego Chargers actually have added some meat on the defensive line in the offseason. The Chargers have added Brandon Mebane onto their roster, signing him to a 3-year deal.

The Chargers have been desperate for some help on the defensive line for the last few seasons and have not added anyone of note to the team. This time around, the team has made a move at the position.
The Seahawks were looking to bring back Mebane on another deal, but the Chargers were able to pull the trigger on their move first. Mebane will be an immediate starter on the defensive front and should give some help to Corey Liuget on the defensive line. The Chargers still could use their top draft pick on a player like DeForest Buckner or Joey Bosa to bring more help in the trenches. The team has needed the meat up front for a while and it finally looks like they are adding some talent there.
Mebane has been the starter in Seattle on their defensive front for the last 8 seasons. Hefinished last season with a total of 27 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
The Chargers will still be looking for talent on the defensive line. This will bring more depth up front and this team could use another starter up front to add to Liuget and Mebane. This is a start in the right direction though.
