The Chargers will be in San Diego in 2016

The San Diego Chargers will be back in San Diego for the 2016 season. We don’t know where they will be beyond that time. There is an agreement on the table for the Chargers to move to Los Angeles already.

We could have expected this for the 2016 season. We just don’t know where they would go beyond this season. Qualcomm will house the team for at least one more.

The Chargers have to come back to the city of San Diego for a possible deal to stay in town. They can use the Los Angeles deal as leverage to get the deal done. The team has a year to make their decision on a move and a lot can happen within that time. We will all be hoping for the best.

Right now the possibility to stay in San Diego is still an option and that is the best we can hope for at this time. Philip Rivers will get to stick around in this city for at least one more year. We will just see what is in the future beyond this year.
