The San Diego Chargers have a number of possibilities with the first round in the draft. At this point, we don’t expect a player like Joey Bosa to be available when they make their selection, but we still don’t know for sure what way the two teams in front of the Chargers will go. We still don’t know what direction the Chargers will go with the selection.
Free agency could change the direction that the Chargers go with the pick. If they bring in some offensive lineman through free agency like they did with Orlando Franklin last year, then we might be going in a whole new direction in the draft. I just know we won’t be looking for a quarterback or a running back with that first pick.
Who will we pick then? Who is on the Chargers radar at this point in the draft? What does Tom Telesco want to do with his draft? We have seen time and time again that he has ignored the defensive front. We have seen a love for skill players as well. What does our GM have up his sleeve?
Here are some of the players that the Chargers could have their eyes on with the first pick in the draft.
