The Detroit Lions will be taking on the Seattle Seahawks tonight, and I expect the 12th man to be in full effect! The Detroit Lions have not lived up to expectations this season, and were picked to be a playoff caliber team. Their record is 0-3, and they haven’t looked the same since losing Suh, even with Ngata replacing him. This is interesting, because Ngata wasn’t exactly perceived to be a HUGE downgrade. The Lions recently got upset by the Chargers in the home opener, where they allowed the Bolts to overcome the biggest home deficit in history!

Having said that, the Seahawks have also lumbered out of the gates, and do not look as sharp as they have in the past. Their record is just 1-2, and they didn’t show improvement until last week, when they shut out a hapless Bears team that is trading away their players like candy!  This is not very much consolation after getting beaten by the Rams, who are a divisional rival. They also looked lackluster against Green Bay, who they have major beef with in the conference.

Marshawn Lynch, has been injured recently, and it has just been announcedx that Thomas Rawls will be starting in his place. Rawls put up great numbers last week for a back up. Pete Carroll has all the confidence in the world Rawls will be fine, and likes that he runs with a mean streak. If Rawls is still available in your league, you may want to pick him up. Especially if you need a sleeper pick, because Lynch can’t go.

I am hoping that the Seahawks get upset by the Lions, as that would make me feel even better about our victory over Detroit! In the meantime, please feel free to post in the comments section below, discuss anything football, and maybe some other cool stuff.
