Melvin Ingram has been killing it during the preseason. He picked up a couple of sweet sacks in the game against the Cardinals and was able to create a lot of pressure off of the edge. He also created good run support as well. We have all seen the potential from having him on the field, but we have not been able to see him stay on the field.

If he can stay on the field, then we know that he will put up numbers. He has always shown that he can be a playmaker, but that injury bug has bitten him every season.

When he went down a couple of seasons ago, the team had to sign Dwight Freeney to fill his spot. Last season, he struggled through more injuries. If he can only stay on the field. Can he stay on the field? That is what we all will be keeping our eyes on.

If he is on the field, we know that he will make a game changing type of play somewhere. We need him healthy. He has the ability to get to the quarterback and will beat lineman with his speed off of the line and his strength. The team can line him up in a number of areas on defense to get him different opportunities. He is a huge key to bringing pressure.
