Could this finally be the year that the San Diego Chargers are able to bring a pass rush? That pass rush has been missing since we had Shawne Merriman lining up on the outside to bring the heat. The pass rush has been missing since we allowed Wade Phillips to leave. The team has had a pass rusher as a top need for a long time, but after taking a number of players, it still has been non-existent. Will the team finally be able to put it all together this season? Will this team finally have the ability to pressure quarterbacks?

Melvin Ingram led the charge with 2 sacks with a nice spin move and a sick burst off of the line of scrimmage. John Pagano was dialing up the blitzes to put the pressure on. Will this be something that we can look forward to seeing?

Does this team have the ability to create the pressure on quarterbacks? Does this team have the talent to knock some quarterbacks down? There are a number of players that will be key into busting this thing loose. Let’s look at a few of the keys to creating more pressure.
