First things first, Philip Rivers will be the best quarterback that Stevie Johnson will have ever played with. Johnson picked up over 1000 yards with Ryan Fitzpatrick throwing him the football. RYAN FITZPATRICK! Imagine what he can do if Philip is tossing him the rock.

Some will argue that Colin Kaepernick is a better quarterback, but we are talking about the passing game here. Kaep is nowhere in the class of quarterbacks at tossing the rock out to his receivers and calling plays from under center. Philip will get the ball to his playmakers. Kaepernick is a playmaker.

Johnson is great at getting separation from the coverage and Philip will drop the ball in on him all day. Johnson will become a big threat on third down and in the red zone if he can consistently break loose from coverage. We will be watching in the first 4 games of the season while Antonio Gates is sidelined to see where Johnson fits in that role.
