The Chargers likely will look for a speedy wide receiver in the later rounds of the draft. Malom Floyd won’t be playing much longer in the NFL, so the team will be looking at a few options in the draft. Titus Davis is an intriguing option for the Chargers later in the draft. He has some good speed and also can get up to compete for jump balls.
Davis likely wouldn’t get many opportunities to play on the field in his rookie season unless the team has some injuries. Keenan Allen and Malcom Floyd are the team’s starters and Stevie Johnson will also see a lot of action on the field as well. Dontrelle Inman proved that he was a solid option on offense and would be the first option off of the bench for the Chargers.
If he is available later in the draft he looks like he would be a solid pickup for the team. There are some other areas of need for the Chargers in the first few rounds though.
