With Ryan signing in Philadelphia, the San Diego Chargers will be looking to add a new running back in town. The team currently has Branden Oliver, Danny Woodhead and Donald Brown as the main backs on the roster. Oliver and Brown were the two main backs for the roster last season after all the injuries in the backfield and the team ended as one of the worst running teams in the league. We can’t sit at the bottom of the league in the running game again. I have a feeling that the team could be after a new running back in the draft.

If Ryan were able to stay healthy, he could be one of the best in the game. He just needs to find a way to stay on the field. He has battled with fumbling issues in the past, but we have not seen those issues as often any longer. It might be because he barely was on the field last season.

Ryan will work in the wide open Chip Kelly offense and will be asked to make people miss in the open field. He has a nice combination of size and speed, but he has never been a player that was able to make players miss in the open field. It should be interesting to see him play in Philadelphia.

What will San Diego do now?
