Early reports this morning came out stating that the Chargers in fact are preparing to make a run at Ndamukong Suh. The free agent defensive tackle is rumored to have a market value ranging from $17 million per year and up. With teams like the Dolphins, Raiders, Buccaneers and Jaguars already voicing their interests in the mammoth play-maker, this free agency could be one of the most eventful in recent history.
He would be an instant upgrade and game changer for the Bolts who managed just 26 sacks on the season in 2014. He does come with some baggage in regards to his stomping, fines, and personal fouls, but the benefit of a monster defensive tackle cannot be understated.
According to reports he is chasing the dollars, not the teams. So there aren’t chances to low-ball the offer based of a winning franchise. Should the Chargers pay $17 million per year average to reel in Ndamukong Suh? San Diego could very well be his new “stomping grounds”… Pun intented.
