Chargers missing the “High Boltage” energy

By Paul Maland

There are many things that you could say about the 2014 Chargers performance as a whole. A lack of offensive line depth. A lack of pass rush. A lack of run game. But the thing that strikes me the most is that Chargers seem to be lacking their “High Boltage” mentality that we have all come to know and love. The energy that stormed throughout the nation when Shawne Merriman used to do the “Lights Out” celebration. Vincent Jackson throwing his arms out wide after hauling in a jump ball in double coverage. The instant buzz of electricity whenever the ball got into Darren Sproles hand. That’s what we are missing! Philip Rivers is at his best when he is fiery, so who’s going to step up to instigate that fire and spread it throughout the whole team? Draft him, sign him, or let him step up to do so. But someone has to!

BOLT UP! 2015 is right around the corner. The season training and prep begins now for those signed!

We gotta crank up the BOLTAGE in 2015!
