Jeremiah Sirles could be used at starter on Sunday. We will be watching the status of Johnnie Troutman during the week.

Before we start talking about Sirles, let’s just watch this double team by the big man with D.J. Fluker to push his man back 4 yards.

He lost his helmet on the play, but he still was looking to hit someone. I like that mentality. I like the scrappiness.

Sirles was an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska that played tackle. He played both tackle positions with Nebraska and picked up his experience working at guard with the Chargers.

He saw his first action on the field on Sunday and played well. He was brought up from the practice squad on November 29 before the Chargers faced the Baltimore Ravens in week 13. He will be counted on if Johnnie Troutman is not able to get on the field on Sunday.
