Is he hurt?

Philip didn’t practice with the rest of the team on Tuesday and he has shown up on the injury report a few times already. Antonio Gates shared that Philip had been playing through an injury a few weeks ago. Philip didn’t show up on an injury report until Gates mentioned it. He has shown up with a chest injury.

Is Philip playing through some pain and is it affecting him on the field?

If he is hurting, then I am sure that it is affecting his play. He is getting beat up back there, but that has never stopped him from playing. He still keeps working on Sundays. He is one of the toughest quarterbacks in the league and an injury will not keep Philip on the sideline.

Do I believe that Philip is hurt? Yes. Any time he scrapes himself off of the ground he is wincing. In some instances he chooses a run play just so that he doesn’t have to get hit again and to give himself a breather.

He  has been getting beat up. He won’t take himself out. He will play the game if he didn’t have any legs. He pretty much does that anyway with all the braces on his knees.
