It looks like we are getting to the point where we have to start asking what is wrong with Philip Rivers. The offense has struggled for the last few weeks and Philip has been playing poorly. The team has lost the last pair of games against the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots and the offense has been putrid.
Philip has thrown an interception in each of his last 4 games and his completion percentage has dropped dramatically this month. He has thrown 5 interceptions since facing off against the St. Louis Rams and his completion percentage has dropped to 60.6% against the Patriots and then 58.5% against the Broncos. He normally is around the 70% mark.
The offense has not been fun to watch and the team is looking toward Philip to rally the troops. He needs to get back to ripping defenses apart again. His next chance will be on Saturday against the San Francisco 49ers. What will Philip do in that game? Will he quiet the critics?
Is something wrong? Here are some theories that people are throwing out there.
