The San Diego Chargers host one of the best teams in the league today. The offensive line is dinged up, but they have still managed to squeak out victories on a three game winning streak. The will have their hands full with Tom Brady today, and they must play mistake free football. The Bolts have a chance to extend their record to 9-4, pull away in the wild card race, and possibly even keep pace with the Broncos for the division title. A win today would be HUGE!
The defense has kept this team in games by making big plays when it counted. But, it was Philip Rivers who carried the team on his back by coming from behind, after being down two scores in Baltimore last weekend. It was a thrilling one point win on the road in a game that held big playoff implications. Ryan Mathews, and Eddie Royal notched a couple of big scores. However, it was Keenan Allen who had a huge day, and kept the chains moving in one of his best performances as a Charger. They could use another performance like that from the youngster today.
If you haven’t been on one of our open threads before, this is where we get together to root for the Chargers, and talk about the game. Please feel free to comment below, and cheer on our team as they try to topple the best team in the AFC! Go Chargers!!!!
