San Diego Chargers RT D.J. Fluker missed out on practice today after he suffered a concussion on Wednesday during practice. Will he be avaialble in time to face off against the New England Patriots? This could be another obstacle for this offensive line on Sunday.
Fluker could be out with the concussion for Sunday’s game and the team also could be without C Chris Watt for the game. How many injuries can an offensive line have?

Trevor Robinson would get the start for the team at center if Chris Watt is unable to play. With the Chargers signing G/C Jeff Baca off of the practice squad, it seems that the team is prepping for the possibility of Watt being out. How long will Robinson last before he gets injured. That position on the team has been cursed with injuries with Robinson being the 5th starter at the position.
If Fluker has to sit out, the team would go into the game with 2 reserves in the starting lineup. The team will look to Willie Smith to fill in the void at the right tackle spot. I am sure that Bill Belichick is preparing to attack the weak spots on that offensive line. Hopefully they can get Philip Rivers the time to throw and Ryan Mathews the room he needs.
If the decision to play was up to Fluker, I am sure he would be on the field, but it will be up to the doctors to clear him for action. He will be a key injury to watch for during the week. Hopefully he will be trotting out onto the field and clearing a path for Ryan Mathews and company on Sunday. We need all the talent on the field that we can get against a solid New England Patriots roster.
