3. Brandon Flowers

The history of this secondary is terrible. It has been the worst part of the defense for a long time and Eric Weddle was the only good player back there fpr the longest time.

The addition of Brandon Flowers to the secondary has helped in a big way. I wish that Jason Verrett was still available for the defense this year. With both of them on the field, we would have a pair of solid corners locking it down on the outside.

Flowers was the best additing to the team this offseason. He should be a key player for this team to re-sign at the end of the year. His ability in the secondary makes everyone else around him better. He has locked down a number of receivers and has helped this defense improve.
