#6, Eric Weddle

One of the best safeties in the game today, Eric Weddle has been the exemplar of consistency and durability. He has only missed 4 games in his entire 8 year career with the Chargers. He has been selected to 2 Pro Bowls and in 2011 he was 1st-team All-Pro when he led the NFL with 7 interceptions. He is 5th on the franchise tackles list at 590, 9 behind Rodney Harrison for 4th. Weddle has also scored 4 defensive touchdowns. Also, who could forget his 4th down conversion against the Chiefs last year with a playoff berth on the line? He has 19 career interceptions and 6 career sacks. He could still make even more of a splash in the years to come.
