Jahleel Addae will likely be back on the field this weekend against the St. Louis Rams. Not sure what that menas for Adrian Phillips on the roster, but Addae will get his chance to see the field since that scary game against the Denver Broncos.
Jahleel Addae practicing. Looks to be week he returns to field. Chargers safety missed past two games with concussion.

The defense has been getting players back on the field after the BYE week. We have seen Melvin Ingram and Jerry Attaochu back on the field already and they showed in improved pass rush with their return to the field. Addae would be a key player to get back on the field as well.
He will be able to bring his aggressiveness on defense. We just need him to come in more controlled and hopefully he can make a big play for the defense.
Many people believed that Addae would be able to take the starting safety spot next to Eric Weddle this season, but he has not made that next step. He still is a key player to have in the secondary. He can step into the safety spot while Marcus Gilchrist steps in as the nickel corner role.
We just want Addae to be safe. The concussion that he suffered against the Broncos was scary looking. He did take some time to get back and we just hope that he is able to be smart with that injury.
