Sean Lissemore was back on the field for the San Diego Chargers at practice. He didn’t get into the game against the Oakland Raiders with his quad injury, but he is back at it and could be in the starting lineup for the Chargers against the Rams.
Chargers center Rich Ohrnberger (ankle) and NT Ryan Carrethers (elbow) aren't practicing. NT Sean Lissemore (quad) is.

Lissemore could be back, but his backup might need some time after he suffered the elbow injury last week against the Oakland Raiders. Rookie Ryan Carrethers had a nasty looking injury in that game where it looked like his arm was just hanging there and flopping around when he ran off of the field. The team still expects that he will get back on the field though. Not sure if he will be back for the Rams game though.
It would be nice to have Lissemore in the game against the Rams run game. It will be key to slow that down and to get the ball back to Philip Rivers with a short field.
The defense will need another solid performance while the offense is trying to figure things out. The Chargers were blanked in the game before the BYE week and then struggled to move the ball against the Raiders. Some things on offense need to get better.
