San Diego Chargers RG Jeromey Clary placed on IR, out for season
San Diego Chargers have placed OG Jeromey Clary onto the IR list with a hip injury and he will be out for the remainder of the season. He didn’t play one snap this year for the team.
San Diego Chargers RG Jeromey Clary has been placed on the IR and will not be able to participate this season. He was on the PUP list, but his hip injury will not allow him to get back on the field this season. Who knew that we would miss Clary this much?

With Clary out, the team has allowed Johnnie Troutman to start at the right guard position and he has been inconsistent in his opportunity to play. There are times where he does alright, but then there are times where he is overmatched. Chris Watt has had his opportunities to take the starting job as well and has been mixed in, but he might be needed at the center position for a while.
The team has had some injuries in the middle of the line and it has hurt the run game and the interior protection for Philip Rivers. This will be an area of focus for the team in the offseason.
Jeromey has always been the scapegoat on the team for some of the issues on the offensive line, but his toughness on the team has been missed. His move to right guard was good for him and took him off of an island. Hopefully he will be able to get back on the field next season.
Long been expected: Chargers officially announce Jeromey Clary out for year. Guard was on PUP with hip injury. Now on IR.
