San Diego Chargers CB Jason Verrett has been placed on the IR and the team has activated Melvin Ingram to take his spot on the roster.
Jason Verrett will miss the rest of the season with the busted shoulder. The team has placed him on the IR list and he will have surgery to repair the jacked up shoulder.

The team has activated Melvin Ingram off of the IR list and he will be available to play on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.
Verrett showed a ton of potential while he was on the field and will be a star for this team when he gets back on the field. It will be nice to get him back playing the whole season.
With Verrett out, the Chargers will have Brandon Flowers and Shareece Wright will be the starters and the team will have to figure out who will take over the slot corner spot.
At least the team will get a solid pass rusher on the field this weekend. Melvin Ingram should give the defense some extra love.
