The San Diego Chargers started practice on Wednesday and there were a number of players that returned to the field for the first time in a while. The team is going to have some fresh faces on the field and it should give the team some added talent to work with. This was much needed.
Here is the list of players that were back on the field at the start of Wednesday’s practice:
LB Melvin Ingram, LB Manti Te'o, RB Ryan Mathews, LB Jerry Attaochu, S Jahleel Addae among Chargers on field. Missed combined 20-plus games

Ryan Mathews is back on the field and should be the starter when he returns. He will share time with Branden Oliver, but it will give the offense a new look and it should help the running game a bit.
Manti Te’o, Jahleel Addae and Melvin Ingram all returned to the field for the defense. That will be huge for the team. Jerry Attaochu had been practicing the last couple of weeks and he should be joining the team on the field on Sunday as well. The lineup is going to look a little different and it should look real nice.
