San Diego Chargers TE Ladarius Green has been MIA this season. Where has he been?
Last year, the team didn’t get him involved until late. They didn’t get him onto the field and use him as a top option, but when they finally started looking at him as an option, Mike McCoy wanted to get him the ball more. They wanted to use him on the field more. They wanted to get him rolling early.
The team needs to get him involved in the game again. It is tough though. The Chargers want to use Eddie Royal, Malcom Floyd and Keenan Allen on the floor all the time and that doesn’t leave any snaps for Green.
The team needs to find a way to get the pair of tight ends on the field. Getting both Antonio Gates and Ladarius Green on the field would create some mismatches everywhere. It will help in the run game to have a pair of tight ends and both Gates and Green can stretch the field and make plays in the pass game.
Let’s get him on the field. Just imagine the mismatches.
