Corners

I guess I could have put the whole secondary on this list, but we will break it out a little bit. The corner situation got better with the addition of Brandon Flowers and Jason Verrett. Shareece Wright was a decent option on the field as well, but when are they ever on the field at the same time? They all have been dealing with some injury during the whole season.

Brandon Flowers has been a nice addition to the team and might be the best corner to play in the secondary for a long, long time. The best since Cro? At least  Flo likes to tackle.

Jason Verrett has shown potential on the field. He just can’t stay on the field. If only he could do that, then we could have a decent secondary that could compete each game. That hasn’t happened yet and he could be out for the rest of the year with his latest shoulder injury.

Shareece Wright would lose his starting gig, but nobody can stay healthy and he is the best option on the roster at this point. Remember we were starting Richard Marshall at one point? That is how bad the secondary was looking.

The depth behind Wright has not been good. Steve Williams has been burned any time he touched the field. Chris Davis has been getting more action of late and has not screwed up to this point. Hopefully he can keep it up.
