Melvin Ingram Eligible to Return After BYE week

San Diego Chargers LB Melvin Ingram is eligible to return to the field after the BYE week. He is making progress and could return before the end of the season.
We thought that we were going to get to see Melvin Ingram and Dwight Freeney all season together, but that has barely been the case. We thought that we would get to see Melvin on the field a lot more this season and he has been sitting on the IR list just like last season. We are checking the clocks and waiting for him to get back. He will be eligible to get back on the field after the BYE week. He is making progress, but the game against the Oakland Raiders might not be his exact return date.
Melvin Ingram is eligible to return after bye. For a return this year, his recent progress is encouraging. #Chargers

We know that Ingram will put in the work to get back on the field. He showed it last season and he made an impact in his return. He will need to do it all over again this season. He needs to help this defense get more of a pass rush on quarterbacks and also will need to bring his physical nature to the run defense.
If only Ingram could stay away from these injuries. He has got some sort of Derrick Rose syndrome going on with him. Can we get him to stay on the field when he makes his return? We will need him to bring up the intensity for the rest of his squad. Mel is a difference maker.
Once he gets onto the field the intensity level will rise. Just get him back out there. He will be eligible soon. We need to see him get back to practice very soon to see what the timetable looks like.
