San Diego Chargers CB Jason Verrett is on the field during workout and the team is monitoring him to see if he will be able to play vs the Denver Broncos.

Jason Verrett is on the field before the game tonight working out to see if he will be available to get in the game tonight vs the Denver Broncos. He is nursing a shoulder injury the last couple of weeks and has been able to practice during the week, but we are not sure if he will be able to get in on the action tonight. He missed action last week vs the Chiefs.

John Pagano among those monitoring CB Jason Verrett during workout. Verrett now off field, headed back to locker room.

Jason would be a key player for the Chargers to have on the field against Peyton Manning and that stout offense. Richard Marshall had to take a number of the snaps with all the injuries in the secondary last weekend and it was ugly.

Brandon Flowers has already been ruled out for the Broncos game and we are still questioning if we will have Verrett available for action. It would be great for him to step onto the field against Peyton Manning and for him to get a big time pick. He has performed great in his time on the field. We just need him to get on the field.

Shareece Wright will be starting at one corner spot on defense. Who will be starting on the other side? Please let it be Jason.
