Another win on the books for the San Diego Chargers and they need to continue their stampede throught the start of the season. There were a number of injuries in the game and the team still was able to roll through the Jets. At some point, we will need to finish some games without injuries.
This Chargers team is physical though. That reputation that this team had with Norv Turner is going further and further into history and a physical team is making its presence felt.

With players on offense like D.J. Fluker and King Dunlap setting the tone, this team is looking to physically work you. On defense, the team has some thumpers running around the field. Kavell Conner, Jarret Johnson and Jahleel Addae are always looking to make big hits. The secondary has a bunch of players that can make some big tackles as well.
This team wants to make you feel the pain. Everyone is getting to the football and looking to pop a big hit. This team is hungry for the football as well. They are popping the ball out and creating opportunities for turnovers. They are getting their hands on passes and forcing interceptions.
On Sunday, the Jets quarterbacks were seen on the ground all day long. The first hit on Geno Smith set the tone for the day and is what this Chargers team is about. Jarret Johnson smashed through Geno on the play and knocked his head off. Putting licks on the quarterback like that will shake up some quarterbacks. It is the way this defense is shaping up to be. We want to beat you down.
