The San Diego Chargers didn’t wait long to make their next move to add a center onto the roster. The team signed Trevor Robinson off of the Bengals practice squad and he will add some depth onto the team now.

Robinson is another Notre Dame product that has played in the league for a couple of seasons and started 7 games with the Bengals in his rookie season. The Chargers love dipping into that Notre Dame talent pool. Another Notre Dame product, Chris Watt could be making the start with the injuries up front.
Robinson still has to learn the system, but it will be a big opportunity for the young man on the roster. The team needed to find someone to help up front and the talent pool is running thin. This is their next man up onto the team and he could be called upon pretty quickly.
The team was able to find someone that has experience starting and that can help this team immediately. Hopefully he can stay healthy for more than a few games. We already know that he is brave if he is signing onto a roster that has already seen this many centers get rolled through.
