I hate this time of the week. This is the time of the week when we find out who is unable to get on the practice field and it always seems to be a struggle. Here is the report from Michael Gehlken.

CBs Shareece Wright (knee), Jason Verrett (hamstring) not practicing today. Same for OLBs Jerry Attoachu (hamstring), Reggie Walker (ankle).

2 of our top 3 corners are on the sideline dealing with injuries. We could see Richard Marshall starting in this game this weekend.

We also have a couple of our top outside linebackers on the sideline. Our top 2 draft selections are sitting on the sideline missing action. It would be nice to get them on the field with some of the top guys out and let them get their reps.

Verrett would start if he were able to play. Attaochu would get a ton of reps if he was able to play. Too bad they are all dealing with injuries.

Here is an additional update on some key players

Chargers center Rich Ohrnberger (back), RB Ryan Mathews (knee) and LB Manti Te'o (foot) are not practicing.

and then there is this conflicting report that was just added:

Good to see Jason Verrett back on the field going through drills with team. Will get participation report after practice.
