Shareece Wright got an MRI on his right knee, but the team likely will not comment on the injury until Wednesday. Wright was seen walking with a wrap on the knee and he decided not to comment on the injury as well. That is what this team does. Any injury is only business to the team and they will let the world know what is happening with their players when they are ready for the rest of the world to know.

There is some optimism to the injury, but we have heard that noise before. I won’t trust that he will be back on the field until we see him get back on the practice field. He is a key player to the defense. He has been playing well at corner and his ability to wrap up and tackle in the secondary has been a key to the defense.
He may have to miss a couple of games to rest the injury and that would mean that the team will look to the next man up. If rookie Jason Verrett is healed up, then he would step in as the starter at corner. If Verrett still is unable to step onto the field, then the team will go with Richard Marshall at the other corner spot. Either way, Wright will be needed for the road to the playoffs. Hoping that the injury is not too bad.
