The San Diego Chargers injury reports have been ugly to watch throughout the week. This week, there are a few key contributors that have not been able to step onto the practice field all week.

We already know that Ryan Mathews and Manti Te’o will be out some time with their injuries, but there were a few other players that joined the injury report and were not able to practice all week.

Starting center Rich Ohrnberger has not been able to practice all week and it might open up the opportunity for rookie Chris Watt to make his first start of his career.

Other rookies have not been able to get to the practice field though. Jason Verrett has not practiced all week and that could mean Steve Williams will get more playing time at corner. The team also could use Richard Marshall out there if Verrett is unable to play.

Jerry Attaochu barely saw snaps last weekend and has been out all week with his hamstring injury. He likely should sit out another week.

LB Reggie Walker has not gotten onto the field this week and it could mean more playing time for Cordarro Law. Law was brought onto the roster from the practice squad and could give the team some help on the outside.

Lastly, TE/FB David Johnson did not practice this week at all. John Phillips would take over his role on offense.
