Chargers work out RB D.J. Adams

The San Diego Chargers are working out RB D.J. Adams today. Adams is a rookie and was just released by the Dallas Cowboys. I wouldn’t think that he would be the player that the team brings in to hold the spot down for Danny Woodhead. He seems like he would be a practice squad player to take the spot of Marion Grice.

If they were going to bring a rookie onto the roster to add with Branden Oliver and Donald Brown, then they likely would have just signed Grice onto the team.
Adams was part of the Chargers earlier in training camp and was released. Still think the team will be looking to add a veteran to the team. If they don’t bring in anyone today, the team will likely give the ball to Branden Oliver and Donald Brown often this weekend.
