There is a storm front that is expected to hit Buffalo on Sunday morning. That is not a metaphor for the lightning bolts coming to town on Sunday morning, even thought that is true as well. There is actually a rain storm that is expected to hit the Buffalo area. There is rain expected and there could be 13-15 mph winds in the skies.

The weather could come into play in the passing game. The Chargers don’t have their top running back available in the game and they are also facing a tough run defense. Even though there is going to be wind and rain in the skies, the Chargers will need to find ways to move the ball through the air. They will need to get that short passing game moving the ball down the field. Screen passes to Eddie Royal and quick slants to Keenan Allen will need to spring the team down the field on offense.

Even though Ryan Mathews is unavailable, the team will need to find some consistency in the running game. This Chargers offense thrives on positive plays on the early downs. The running game will be key for the team to move the ball down the field. Donald Brown will need to be a huge factor if the Chargers want to take this win on the road. If the rain comes down, he will be needed even more.
